SWUFE has established cooperative links with teaching-research
institutions and businesses from over 20 countries as well as
domestic institutions. There opened the joint China Actuary Accountant
Training Center by SWUFE and General Accident Insurance Company
of the UK; China Insurance Agent Training Center jointly by SWUFE
and Australia-based AXA; the Japanese Actuary China Test Center
jointly by SWUFE and Japanese Actuary Association; Siemens-SAP
Industry and Business Management Information Center jointly by
SWUFE and the German Siemens Corporation and the Life Office Management
Association (LOMA) Test Center jointly by SWUFE and American New
York Life Insurance International.
The University has always stressed educating its faculty and students
to be politically correct. Its Communist Party of China (CCP)
Committee was awarded the Leading Local Committee by the Organization
Department of the CCP Central Committee in 1996 and the 1993-1998
Leading Chinese Universities in Party Building and Ideological
& Political Work in 1998. Prof. Tu Wentao, secretary of University
CCP Committee, was elected a representative to participate in
the 16th CCP National Congress in November 2002. SWUFE CCP Committee
was awarded the Leading Local Committee on Combat against SARS
in 2003.
