Swufe Library

The library of SWUFE (Southwestern University of Finance and Economics) was established in 1952, occupying an area of a little more than 55,000 square metres, holding 1.8 million books. It is the largest financial literature center in Southwest China, owning substantial digital resources. The whole library includes the Wenyuan buildings, the literature center, the library of SWUFE Fujiang, the library of SWUFE Liulin, and the financial data center. Its main function covers collecting, processing, storing, and transmitting financial literature information home and abroad on various carriers systematically. The library has been able to provide information service through the network.

As far as the focus of literature construction is concerned, being a library in a financial school determines that our library has to explore in deeper and broader areas of financial literatures, while advance into fields of social and natural sciences so as to meet the needs of cultural education. Upon the prerequisite of guaranteeing the varieties and number of printed literatures, the library attaches importance to the construction of digital resources.
