SWUFE (Southwestern University of Finance and Economics) is located in the western suburb of Chengdu city, Sichuan province, PRC. Only minutes' bus drive to downtown area of Chengdu, it has a very convenient traffic, with a number of bus routes connecting it with downtown area and other parts of the city. Within its neighborhood, there are Huanhua creek (a historical scenic spot in Chengdu) and Dufu's Thatched Cottage, where Dufu, one of the greatest poets in China, nicknamed Saint Poet, once lived.
